Opt7 Boltzen Ac Canbus Series 35w Hid Kit Bulb Goes Out Again

  • #one

Anyone have experience using these kits and which type you have used. My estimate would be to use their Boltzen Air conditioning CANBUS Series: 35w HID Kit with Relay / Anti-Flicker Harness here

Not certain if should use the anti-flicker harness or these resistors instead. Not much price departure.

I've seen proficient reviews for their rear light bars on this site but these are different types of products ect.

I too just wanted to note that I have looked at headlight revolution and the GTR lighting fifth Gen kits being offered. I'd probably adopt the 55watt sets if I went that road. Merely not certain I want to justify dropping $300 usd each on 2 sets(highs and lows) for a grand total of like $775 CDN. for that price I could buy the highs, lows and resistors from Opt-7($204 USD including tax, shipping and afterwards Christmas discount code) and all the same accept cash left for Morimoto LED Fogs in the future and/or other mods.

I would be installing these in OEM projectors if that makes a difference.

Since you're putting them in a projector throw whatever idea of LED out the window. They will not perform well in in that location.

That being said. I had Opt 7s original led bulbs. I know they've updated their led bulbs simply their original was such garbage I'll never buy their production over again. Not simply was the light output terrible. The bulbs failed and so did their replacement.

I now take GTR GEN 3 LED fog lights and they are fantastic, but morimoto is coming out with a new set of fog lite pods on the 30th. Morimotos LED foglight pods perform phenomenally. I utilize their 50W HID kit for my headlights in my projectors and they're easily the best HID kit I take ever bought in terms of performance and customer service.

If you're looking for headlights I highly recommend going HID especially since y'all're using projectors and an led in a projector housing volition be terrible in terms of performance. If you're looking for fog lights jump on the morimoto led fogs as soon equally they release.

This is how run into it. Since you have projectors yous must and the very to the lowest degree take a sport. If you have a sport you spent at to the lowest degree 50k for it. If you spent at least 50k on a truck why would you cheap out on headlights (a very important aspect of any vehicle). You get what you pay for on whatsoever automotive production. So I'd just spend the money up front end and be satisfied. On my charger instead of buying the best lights I bought the best toll. And it fleck me on the ass. I went for the all-time of the best with my ram.

Morimoto led fog lights available December 30th. As well has an option to buy xanthous film (xanthous 3000k is the best performing temperature for fog/snow/rain)

I accept no desire to use LED excluding the Morimoto Fogs. On newspaper at first and when I talked to all my local shops they were all promoting their in business firm brand of LEDs for my truck. But every bit with anything I've purchased I read constantly and found null reviews that favoured LED. Hell took me a year after I bought the truck to pull the trigger on Bilsteins.

I come across you tried Opt7s LED kit. Regardless of the failure in that product I assume the HID could be different case. How was customer service with these guys?

Well I guess there is just no short cut quality then. Looked at Morimoto 50Watt for 2015 Mopar kits. And they're $275 with the carbon fibre mounting bracket. Plus all the extra wiring to practise them compared to the GTR 5th Gens. I retrieve the extra $25 USD is probably worth the simpler installation for me.

Probably my next purchase later Christmas

I love mine! but I went with the LED. Hid in general isnt reliable with my experience. LED may not exist as vivid but I have had zero problems and what a dif compared to stock.
